Mads Hindhede Svanegaard is makes lovely minimalist posters. I have to admit, this eye-catching Mission:Impossible design is my favorite.
I like that they chose an actual MMA fighter for the lead in Haywire. When you put Michael Fassbender, Ewen McGregor and Michael Douglas around her the cast just seems to get better.
The Russian poster for Columbiana truly pays to movie tribute. I am intrigued by this movie because it’s written by the same man who wrote Leon:The Professional and Taken; a man who truly knows how to bring story to an action flick.
I’ve been thinking a lot about classic movies lately, so I just had to get an old poster up here. H. G. Wells seemed like a good place to start. Here’s a poster for the movie adaptation of his book, The Invisible Man. This poster has been just as badass since the day it was created almost 80 years ago. Well done.
The mother in Animal Kingdom is so brilliantly creepy I can’t get her out of my mind. It’s a delightfully eerie crime thriller that pumps in suspense to a completely different beat. The poster here illustrates that uneven flow tension and anticipation quite well.
