Taxi Driver- German reprint
Dawn of the dead- The original zombie movie poster, with a badass tagline. This simple image is undoubtedly creepy. Just look at those eyes.
Platoon- Probably my second favorite war movie of all time. Again, it’s a Vietnam War saga with a killer cast. It’s rare to find this much emotion in a still image, especially a movie poster.
An Eye for an Eye- I saw this and had to immediately post it. Chuck Norris is kicking over the Golden Gate Bridge. I repeat, Chuck Norris is kicking over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Ong-Bak- Amazing martial arts epic. This movie really put Muay Thai on the map. Tony Jaa does some things in this movie that you’d never think a man could do. That is all.
Mortal Kombat- One of the few successful video game-movie transitions I have ever liked. Just having the dragon on this poster really draws anticipation and in combination with a strong tagline makes one badass poster.
The Birds- Another case of a simple image going a long way. Bold background in contrast with the white feather really grabs the eye. Hitchcock knew how to instill fear into his audience, and this movie is no exception.
Good Burger - I know this isn’t what you might think of when you imagine a badass poster, but I’d like to see you surf on orange soda with a pickle.
Bloodsport- How could you not include Jean-Claude Van Damme when talking about badass? This alternate poster has less words and more Jean-Claude, while still showing him about to kick a guy in the face. If you love martial arts, then you have to see him take on an underground fighting competition in Bloodsport. Kimbo Slice should have watched a little bit of this when trying to learn how to really compete in MMA.
Dirty Harry - Alternate poster for this Clint Eastwood hard-ass cop drama. I like the combination of the colors with the bullet hole. It makes for one badass image.
